stately home experience!!!

extensive high tea beautiful garden

We stayed two nights and loved the experience! upon arrival, we were welcomed with an very nice and extensive high tea in the beautiful garden. It was such a warm start. our room was lovely, with a fine bathtub in the center and a separate living room. the staff were attentive and friendly. At times we even felt we had someone entirely at our disposal.

the rooms are spacious and well furnished, but there were no tea-making facilities. we found this odd as every other hotel we've stayed in has them.

The food is delicious and beautifully served. The chef is first class. the breakfast is generous and excellent, notably the fresh juices and eggs benedict. i recommend trying the famous eggs and shrimp for dinner!!!

The staff are so attentive to your every need. Our butler, pradeep, cared for us fully. ajantha provided excellent service and is exemplary for customer-oriented service. our butler argenta couldn't do enough for us and looked after us perfectly !!!

the hotel is finely and authentically decorated with charm. the location is quiet. there is a lovely seating area for pre dinner drinks, moreover dinner is taken on the terrace with views of the gardens. the pool is large and superb!!!
